✔ Term-based, in-school provision
✔ Safeguarding-led delivery
✔ Non-diagnostic approach
✔ Reviewed and renewed termly

Creative Support Programme, delivered by Therapeutic Pathways, provides structured, school-embedded creative wellbeing support designed to strengthen inclusion, regulation and engagement, while reducing pressure on school inclusion teams.
Our Structured
Programme Approach
We offer each primary school pupil an opportunity to participate in an Early-Help Practitioner-Led, creative support programme, for 30 minutes each week, over one school term. Each session consists of three integrated key elements:
Creation. Regulation. Relaxation.
This structured approach supports emotional regulation, confidence and engagement while remaining appropriate for a school-based, time-limited provision.
Supporting Children
Why Creative Early Support Matters

Children often express and regulate emotions through play, creativity, and sensory experience rather than words alone. Creative and sensory-informed approaches offer an accessible and developmentally appropriate way for children to explore feelings, build regulation skills and develop self-awareness.
Within school settings, this makes creative early support particularly effective for pupils who may struggle to engage with traditional, language-based interventions. Delivered in a structured and time-limited way, creative support helps pupils feel calmer, more confident and better able to engage with learning. Creative early support aligns well with school-based early intervention and graduated response models, offering a preventative and inclusive approach to emotional wellbeing.
